Scope and agreements
This page describes use of the BeThere Shows website and proposed pilot experience. App availability, supported devices, service commitments, and commercial terms are confirmed in writing for each pilot.
The legal service provider must be identified in your agreement before you enroll or commit to a pilot. This page does not establish an unverified corporate identity or replace a signed venue agreement. Scanning a QR code alone should not be treated as proof of acceptance without a proper notice and agreement process.
How participation works
On a supported device with required setup and permissions completed, scanning the venue's Entrance QR activates phone-free mode once activation is verified. Phone access is restored when the venue ends the event in the Admin Portal, when you scan the Exit QR, or when the eight-hour maximum enforcement authority expires. Restoration timing can vary by device and connectivity.
The venue determines and must disclose its admission and phone-free policy. If you cannot participate, need an accommodation, or decline required permissions, contact venue staff. BeThere Shows is not a substitute for emergency services or accessible venue operations.
Venue responsibilities
Venues must disclose their policy before purchase and at entry, display the Entrance and Exit QR codes, configure the event window, end each event in the Admin Portal, and provide reasonable medical, accessibility, caregiving, and other essential accommodations.
Never obstruct egress, withhold emergency assistance, or misrepresent what the app does. Verify supported device behavior, emergency access, and release procedures before a pilot. Keep staff credentials secure and access limited to authorized people.
Responsible use
Do not use BeThere Shows unlawfully, access another venue’s information without authorization, share staff credentials, upload unlawful content, or interfere with an event or service.
Do not use the service to coerce attendees, monitor private content, or restrict legal rights. Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly; this restriction does not limit testing or other conduct protected by applicable law.
Show artwork and BeThere Moment
Venues remain responsible for having permission to use their event artwork and Moment image, including copyright, performer likeness, and other relevant rights. BeThere needs permission to process and display that content only as required to provide the agreed experience.
BeThere Moment is a private, venue-controlled shared image for a show. The Moment display ends with the event; show artwork is the fallback when no Moment is set. It is not a promise of absolute confidentiality or protection against recording, screenshots, or external cameras.
Pilot requests and commercial terms
Requesting a pilot does not reserve an event, create a paid subscription, or guarantee availability. The website contact form currently prepares an email; you must send it from your email app for the team to receive it.
Pricing, scope, duration, cancellation, support, and any paid transition must be agreed in writing before a commitment. No payment obligation is created by submitting an inquiry.
Privacy and account requests
Please read the Privacy page and the privacy notice supplied for your actual pilot. They must describe the service’s verified data practices before attendee enrollment.
Contact Contact the BeThere Shows team for account, privacy, or deletion requests. Ending participation or leaving the venue turns off phone-free mode; it does not itself delete account or event records. You can request account deletion directly on the Delete Account page.
Availability and legal rights
Device settings, operating-system behavior, connectivity, and venue configuration can affect the experience. BeThere Shows does not guarantee compatibility with every phone or prevent every form of recording.
This page does not impose an unverified liability cap, arbitration clause, governing jurisdiction, or waiver of statutory rights. Any agreed limitations must appear in the applicable agreement and remain subject to mandatory law.
Ending a pilot and resolving questions
Pilot termination, account closure, data handling, and notice requirements are governed by the applicable written agreement and law. Contact Contact the BeThere Shows team to discuss ending a pilot or resolving a concern.
Changes to binding terms require the notice and acceptance process applicable law requires. The revision date on this page does not indicate legal approval.
